DESCRIPTION

Dear Sirs,
We are a portuguese shipyard. We will have to increase the capacity to place ships in dry dock in 2025 and we are evaluating the different possibilities. At this stage, we consider that the purchase of a floating drydock with about 100 m long may be the best option. This one can be on second hand as long as it is in good condition.
Floating drydock geometry must be something about:
• Length overall – >80 m
• Beam – >20 m
• Ship lifting capacity – >2500 TLC
• Pontoon Depth – the lowest possible
We will need to have the dock fully operational by middle of 2025. This means that all recovery and maintenance work, including possible steel replacement, painting and miscellaneous repairs, must be completed.
