DESCRIPTION
We plan to wet lease a research vessel or platform supply vessel for Antarctic iceberg survey in April and May, 2024. The project needs to cruise between Punta Arenas, Chile and Antarctic Peninsula areas including South Shetland Islands, Elephant Island, South Orkney Islands, and Weddell Sea. Each cruise will last 10 days, and we intend to operate 3-4 cruises. The survey tasks consist of ocean investigation nearby iceberg, life observation, ocean dynamics research, and iceberg sampling and element analysis. The research crew include about 15 scientists, engineers, and technicians.
