2009-built 7,000 m³ Self-Propelled Trailing Suction Hopper Dredger TSHD

1. General Description:
This vessel is a self-propelled trailing suction hopper dredger with twin propellers, twin trailing suction pipes, single deck, steel full-welded construction, streamlined shape, and round bilge hull form. It is equipped with forward, midship, and aft three-point lifting/lowering trailing suction pipes, enabling dual-pipe dredging operations. Cargo discharge pipes are installed at the forward end of the hopper for bow jetting and bow spraying. The hopper is equipped with cone valves for mud discharge, which can be operated in groups or centrally. Each valve is operated by one hydraulic cylinder, with display and remote control from the wheelhouse. The draghead is of HIC linkage type, weighing 16 tons, with pointed teeth. The bow discharge pipe has a diameter of 750 mm, and the high-pressure flushing water system is designed for 10 kg or more. Loaded draft is 7.0 m, and speed is approximately 12 knots.
