Key Performance Specifications
Standard Dredging Depth: Up to 28 meters below the light loadline (lightship with 10% fuel and water, hopper connected to sea) at a 45° suction pipe angle using double suction pipes.
Extended Dredging Depth: Up to 38 meters below the light loadline using lengthened suction tubes at a 50° angle.
Loading Cycle: Effective loading time of approximately 55 minutes when dredging medium-fine sand at a 28-meter depth.
Shore Discharge Performance: Capable of pumping ashore over a distance of approximately 2 km and a height of 6 m, with a discharge duration of about 100 minutes.
General Functions & Dredging Capabilities
Material Versatility: Highly capable of dredging silt, clay, fine silt, medium and fine sand, coarse sand, gravel, and pebbles.
Dual-Pipe Operation: Equipped with two trailing suction pipes for efficient, continuous operations.
Discharge & Dumping Options:
Discharge the dredged mixture directly into the hopper or directly overboard if the mixture is too light.
Dump material to the seabed via bottom doors.
Perform shore discharge via a self-emptying system through the bow connection and shore discharge line.
Execute rainbowing operations via the self-emptying system and rainbow nozzle.
Advanced Soil Handling & Water Management:
Drag heads are fitted with high-pressure water jets to break up and loosen compacted soil.
Jet water pumps allow for hopper load dilution, facilitating smooth unloading during dumping and discharge.
Dedicated dredge pumps enable the discharge of excess water from the hopper prior to dredging.
