This vessel is a self-propelled trailing suction hopper dredger with twin propellers, twin
rakes, a single deck, all-steel welded structure, streamlined and round bilge hull, operating in
coastal navigation areas for dredging works. It is equipped with hanging suction pipes,
capable of single/double rake dredging operations. Suction pipes are installed at the front of
the hopper for bow blowing and bow spraying. Conical mud valves are arranged inside the
hopper for mud discharge, which can be opened and closed in groups or centrally. Each mud
valve is operated by a hydraulic cylinder, with display and remote control from the
wheelhouse. The rake head is of hydraulic bucket type, weighing 20 tons, and the rake teeth
are pear-tooth type. The diameter of the bow blowing pipe is 800mm, the high-pressure
flushing water is designed above 180kg, the light load draft is 3.75m, the designed draft is
6.25m, the operating draft is 7.90m, and the speed under the designed draft of 6.25m is
approximately 14.60kn.
