2022-built 10,000m³ Trailing Suction Hopper Dredger TSHD

1. General Description:
This vessel is a self-propelled trailing suction hopper dredger featuring twin screws, twin trailing pipes, a single deck, steel full-welded construction, a streamlined hull, and a round bilge form. It is equipped with forward, midship, and aft three-point hoisting/lowering trailing pipes, allowing for dual-pipe dredging operations.
A discharge pipe is located at the forward part of the hopper for bow discharging and bow spraying.
The hopper is equipped with conical bottom doors for sediment discharge. The doors can be operated either in groups or centrally.
Each bottom door is opened/closed by one hydraulic cylinder, with display and remote control from the wheelhouse.
The draghead is of a hydraulic backhoe type, weighing 18 tons, with plow/chisel teeth.
Suction/discharge pipe diameter: 900mm. Bow discharge pipe diameter: 750mm. High-pressure flushing water design pressure: above 12 kg.
Loaded draft: 7.0 meters. Speed: approximately 13 knots.

3. Operational Performance:

· Self-suction, self-discharge trailing suction hopper dredger with bow discharge/spray capability.
· Single deck, steel full-welded construction; wheelhouse located atop the aft deckhouse.
· Twin engines, twin propellers, twin rudders, electrically driven bow thruster.
· Maximum dredging depth (below light draft): 35m.
· Suction/discharge pipe diameter: 900mm.
· Each trailing pipe unit consists of three lifting points: elbow lifting point, midship pipe lifting point, and draghead lifting point.

· Capable of pumping the entire hopper load ashore over a distance of approximately 2000 meters.
· Equipped with a high-pressure hopper flushing piping system to loosen and dilute sediment during discharge.
· Capable of loading dredged slurry into the hopper; can also perform direct low-density discharge when slurry concentration is very low.
· Equipped with one DQ15T/21 electric slewing crane for maintenance and spare parts replacement, and one YQ2T/8M hydraulic crane for loading provisions.
· The dredging control consoles in the wheelhouse are located at lower positions on the port and starboard sides, designed for two-person operation with a good field of vision.
