This WTIV is an advanced Self-Elevating & Sailing Offshore Wind Turbine Installation Vessel to deal with the increasing weight and installation height of future wind turbine components and foundations. A 1500T main crane is arranged revolving around the SB aft leg. Its lifting capacity of 1,500 metric tons at a record height of 160 meters above the main deck is foreseen for installation of the high reach above 15 MW wind turbine and its components. Installation of jackets and mono piles of up to 1,500 metric tons. Three Auxiliary cranes are arranged next to the jacking houses. The clear deck area is to be approximately 4,600 m². The huge variable load capacity of 8,000 tons, enables the contractor to make a roundtrip carrying 3 complete sets of 15 MW wind turbine components with a turbine weight of 2,050 tons, or carrying 4 complete sets of 10 MW wind turbine components with a turbine weight of 1,500 tons, optimizing the cost per installed turbine or foundation.
